First of all let me welcome you to my photo blog. I don't really know much about blogging, but I'll get there.....Hopefully. This where you will be able to see more of my recent work and get to know me more as an artist and person. So I hope you enjoy my photographs, as much as I enjoyed taking them.
God has blessed me with two amazing people and writing about all they have done for me is going to take forever so I'll try to make it short. It started my senior year in high school (centuries ago) Tyrell and I had almost every class together but we never talked. It wasn't until we had a photography class where we would have 'hi' and 'bye' convo. Then later we met Mrs.Trompten a teacher assistant who was also a mentor for U.I.C.A. and told us that she wanted us both to be apart of it. From there Tyrell (along with Cheryl lol) & I grew our friendship on an artistic level..he loved to draw and I loved to take pictures (of him and Cheryl). We went on to have a local art show with U.I.C.A, and high school graduation. We we had our moments of not speaking, than speaking, over and over again. It wasn't until Cheryl decided that she was moving, that we made a promise to fix that. Ever since then we have been really close..from writing together (he is such a talented musician/rapper named James Lewis), photo shopping, and just giving each other advice on life. But he is only one part of a 'dynamic duo' ....
Barbara is one of the funniest yet down to earth people that I know. She loves animals and is so quick to tell you how she feels. She isn't afraid to be goofy no matter who is around she does not care what anyone thinks of her. Barbara and I can laugh at the strangest things and make up some pretty random catch phrases. Unlike Tyrell, she understands my love for anything and everything fashionable, Victoria Secret, and accessories too...(I'm still not a big shoe person). Barbara has become such an important part of my life and our random shopping trip has made us much closer and I'm so happy for it. Unfortunately, she is a workaholic :( .. so getting all three of us together sometime feels like a workout its self. But when we have the chance together there is always, lots of laughter. So it's always worth it.
Tyrell and Barbara have chosen me thousands of times to do their couple sessions. They have always seemed to believe in me...even when I doubted myself. They have both been there to give me that extra push I needed to keep me going. Mostly by calling me crazy, yelling at me and telling me to 'get it together' but without those kind words who knows where I would be today. Honestly there is nothing like seeing two of your friends in love, and being able to capture precious moments of them reflecting the love they have for one another. I can't wait for the day I can photograph their wedding :). While the two of them leave Michigan to start the next chapter in life in Atlanta I will miss them dearly. But at the same time, I am excited to see where God takes them....
I know it will be very far.
Love yall always,
Kendra Lynece
P.S. I forgot to mention Tyrell is also the person who designed my logo..thanks again!! :)
